NUJI HOUR

‘nuji’

Nuji was born out of a combination of the words ‘Nell’, the Nuij Hour photographer, and ‘Fuji’, the camera used to take the photographs. The portfolio of work serves to capture the moments of uninhibited joy found within simplicity.

‘HOUR’

In a nod to the significance of time, every Nuji Hour photo is titled by its corresponding 24-hour timestamp. The timestamp serves to pull the viewer's attention to the exact moment the photograph was taken and what that tells you about the experience of the subjects. Whether it's a sunrise swim, or conversation with a friend at dusk, the time can be quite telling of the moment shared by the subjects in the photo.
